The Stork loved the Fox’s cooking, so he was very excited. He did not eat all day. He wanted to eat a lot of Fox’s food.

While the Fox was cooking, he tasted his soup. He said, “This is the best soup ever!” Then, he said, “I do not want to share this soup. I will play a trick on the Stork.” The Fox put the soup in two very shallow bowls.

The Stork came to the Fox’s house for lunch. The Fox put the shallow bowls on the table. Then, the Fox quickly licked up all of his soup with this tongue. But the Stork could not eat because his beak was too long for the shallow bowl.

The Fox looked at the Stork's full bowl. He said, "If you do not like your soup, I will eat it." Then, the Fox quickly took the Stork’s shallow bowl, and he ate all of the Stork’s soup. The Stork said, “You have tricked me again, Fox!” Then, he went home very hungry.
