Long ago, three sisters lived together. They were named Mergrid, Baugrat, and Helen. Mergrid and Baugrat were ugly, but Helen was very beautiful.

Mergrid and Baugrat were jealous because Helen was beautiful. One day, Mergrid and Baugrat locked Helen in a big trunk. Then, they threw the trunk into the river.

A handsome prince saw the sisters put Helen in the trunk. Then, he saw them throw the trunk in the river. The wanted to save Helen.

The prince ran after Helen’s trunk on his horse. But the river was too fast. Soon, Helen’s trunk was far away from the prince.

Helen’s trunk hit a big rock, and it broke open. Helen got out of the trunk, and she saw an old woman. The woman used magic to make a fire. Helen soon became warm and dry.

The woman said, “I know what happened. Your sisters are very bad. I will help you.” Then, the woman put a blanket on the ground, and it was full of food!

The woman used her magic to make a beautiful castle. Then, an army appeared. All of the soldiers bowed to Helen. They called her Queen Helen.
