One day, Jesus was walking on a road. A traveler joined him, and they walked together for a while.

At one point, Jesus stopped. He made three large mounds of earth. Then, by his will, he turned the earth into solid gold. The traveler tried to take one mound of gold.
Page 3
Jesus told the traveler, “Do not take this gold. It will bring death to three men. Follow me.” The traveler gave up trying to take the gold, and he followed Jesus.

Later, three men found the gold. They decided to share the gold because there was one mound for each of them.

They all tried to lift the gold, but it was too heavy for them. They decided that one man should go into town to buy carts and tools for lifting heavy things.

While the one man was in town, the other two men made an evil plan. They decided to kill the man who went to town. Then, they could have his gold.

While the man was in town, he also made an evil plan. In addition to buying tools and carts, he bought food and water. He mixed poison into the food.
