Peter Klaus was a shepherd. Every day, he took his sheep into the forest. He knew a nice place that had good grass. Every day, one sheep wandered off into an old castle. But in the evening, the sheep always came back. And it always had good oats in its wool.

One day, Peter followed the sheep. It went into the old castle, and Peter followed. It went behind the old castle, and Peter followed. Behind the old castle, Peter saw some very old knights. Some were sitting and drinking. Some were playing games.

The knights saw Peter. They invited him to join their party. So, Peter drank and played games with the knights. He played all afternoon. Finally, he went to sleep. Peter woke up. He was in the forest, but his sheep were gone. And the forest was different. The grass was very tall, and the trees were bigger.

Peter’s sheep were gone. He looked around, but he could not find them. So he went back to town. He thought, “Maybe the sheep went home. ”In town, Peter was very surprised. Many of the buildings were different. And he did not know the people. He went to his house, but it was old and broken.

Peter said, Does anyone know me? I am Peter Klaus!” Then, a woman said, “I am his daughter. But Peter Klaus disappeared when I was seven years old.” Peter looked at the woman. He knew she was his daughter. Then, Peter cried. Because then he knew that he had been gone for twenty years!
