Once upon a time, there was a fox. He was very unhappy.

The poor fox had fleas! They hopped all over his body.
Page 3
The fleas bit the fox. And they made his body itch.
Page 4
One day, the fox saw a piece of wool on the ground. He had an idea.
Page 5
The fox picked up the wool and he held it in his mouth. Then he walked through the forest.

The fox walked all the way to the river. When he got to the river, he turned around.

He began to walk backwards into the water. He walked slowly. Soon, his tail was in the water. Some fleas began to hop up his tail; they did not want to swim!
