Long ago, there was a very selfish princess. One day, while she was walking in town, a beggar asked her for some money.

The princess did not give the beggar anything. So, the beggar put a curse on her. He gave her a hump on her back, and the hump repeated anything she said.

At first, the princess did not notice the hump. But when she went home and saw the king, she said, “Hello, father.” Then, the hump said, “Hello, father.”

The princess looked, and she said, “Oh, no!” Then, the hump said, “Oh, no!” The king wanted her to marry a handsome prince. But nobody would marry her now.

The princess ran away, and she never talked to anyone. She became a beggar, but people did not help her. Then, she began to understand her selfishness.

She went to a castle, and she found some work there. She worked very hard, but she did not get much money. But she always helped people in need.

One day, the king announced that the prince was going to be married. But the princess knew the future bride. They played together when they were young.

The princess knew that the future bride was really a witch! She had to help the prince because the witch wanted to take control of the castle!

The princess spoke to her hump. She said, “That witch is more selfish than I ever was. You should attach to her, and warn the prince about her.”
