Long, long ago, the rain did not fall for many weeks. All of the plants were dying. The ground was dry. And the animals were thirsty.

A Toad said, “I will find the Gate to Heaven, and I will talk to God.” He was joined by his friends; the Crab, the Bee, the Fox, the Bear, and the Tiger.

The Toad and his friends found the Gate to Heaven. There was a drum outside the Gate. The Toad told his friends to hide. Then, he jumped on the drum.

The noise from the drum made God angry. God sent his Genie to the Gate. When the Genie saw a toad, he laughed. He sent a Chicken to peck the toad.

When the Chicken ran toward the Toad, the Fox jumped out. The Chicken was afraid, and he ran away.

When the Genie sent a Dog to attack the Fox, the Bear jumped out. The Dog was afraid of the Bear, and he ran away.
