Once, there were two boys. They were good friends, but they were very different from each other.

One boy was named Luu-Binh. His family was very rich. The other boy was named Duong-Le. His family was very poor.

Because Luu-Binh was a rich boy, he was very lazy. He never studied. But Duong-Le studied very hard because he did not want to be poor.

Duong-Le finished school, and he got a good job in another city. He continued to work hard, and he became rich.

Luu-Binh never finished school. He only wasted his money. Then one day, Luu-Binh’s father stopped giving money to him. Now, Luu-Binh was poor!

Luu-Binh visited his friend, Duong-Le. He asked Duong-Le for help. But Duong-Le said, “You are lazy and poor. I will not help you.”
