Once upon a time, an army attacked Vietnam. The army was very strong, and the King of Vietnam was worried.

The King asked all of the strong warriors to fight. But the warriors were not strong enough.

One day, the Kings Messenger was in a small town. Suddenly, a young boy said, “Messenger! Take me to the King. I am Giong! I am the warrior that he wants!”

The Messenger took Giong to the King. The boy was very strong and big. And when the King looked at him, the boy grew bigger!

Giong said, “Make armor for me. And make an iron horse for me. Give the horse an iron heart, and iron lungs!”
Page 6
The Kings blacksmiths made the armor, and they made the horse. The armor and the horse were very strong.
Page 7
Giong grew and grew. He was now a giant, and his armor was too small. It cracked when he put it on. Children put flowers in the cracks.
