One time, there was a King. He had 300 rabbits! One day, the King said, “If any man can take care of my rabbits for three days, he can marry my daughter.”

Everybody knew that the King had 100 servants to take care of his rabbits. And they were the busiest people in the city! Most of the men laughed. They said, “It is impossible!”

Then, one boy said, “I will try.” So, the Kind said, “Every day, you must take my rabbits out to the hills. And every night, you must bring back all 300.”The boy took the rabbits out of the city’s gate. And as soon as they were outside, all of the rabbits ran away! The boy had lost all of the King’s rabbits! He began to cry.

A little man saw the boy. The man asked, “Why are you crying?” And the boy told him about the rabbits. The man gave the boy a flute. He said, “Play this flute. The rabbits will come.” So the boy played the flute, and all of the rabbits came back! When he went to the city, everybody was surprised!

The next day, he took care of the rabbits again. And the next night, he brought them all back to the city. On the third night, the boy returned with the King’s 300 rabbits. The King said, “You can marry my daughter!” The boy married the King’s daughter, and they lived happily ever after.
