Suddenly, a beautiful girl came out of the lake. She said to the farmer, “Please give the robe to me. It is my robe, and I need it so that I can go home.”

The farmer said to the girl, “I found this robe, so it is mine.” The girl said, “Please give the robe to me. I am a Moon Spirit. I need the robe to fly home.” But the farmer still said no.

The girl said, “If you give my robe to me, I will dance for you. The Moon Spirits have beautiful dances that humans have never seen.”

The farmer said, “If I like your dance, I will give the robe to you. But you must dance first!” The girl said, “I cannot dance without my robe.”

The farmer said, “You are trying to trick me! You will take the robe and fly away!” Then, the girl became angry. She said, “Human lie often, but Moon Spirits never lie!”

The farmer felt ashamed because he did not trust the girl. He gave the robe to her, and he said, “If I do not like your dance, will you give the robe to me?” Sadly, the girl said yes.
