Long ago, there was an evil wizard. Sometimes, when he saw a pretty girl, he would put her to sleep. Then, he would lock her in his tower.

One day, he went to a house where two sisters lived. He put the older sister to sleep, and he took her to his tower.

When the older sister woke up, the wizard said, “You must never enter the secret room. And you must never lie to me. If you lie, this stone will turn red.”

The girl’s mother and father did not want the sun to hurt her beautiful skin. And they did not want the tools to hurt her beautiful hands.

The wizard returned. He asked the older sister, “Did you go into the secret room?” She said, “No.” Suddenly, the stone turned red. The wizard put her to sleep, and he put her in the room.

Later, the wizard went out. The younger sister hid the stone in a heavy, metal pot. Then, she went into the secret room. She saw her sister and the other girls.

The wizard returned. He asked the younger sister, “Did you go into the secret room?” The younger sister said, “No.” And the stone did not turn red.

The wizard had been tricked! And that broke his spells. The girls woke up, and they locked the wizard in the secret room. Then, they all went home.
