It was a lovely sunny day. Toro and Rexy were playing out in the green fields when they found a treasure map.

They took a good look at the map and said, ”Let’s go and find the treasure!” They hopped into a big balloon and flew far away. From high up in the sky everything looked very small.

After flying through the sky for days, they looked down and saw a giant lady holding out a candle. It was the Statue of Liberty. “Hello,” she called to them. They looked down, waved and said, “Hello."

Then, a strong wind came and they were flying south fast. They held on tight until they came to a place called Yucatan in Mexico. They looked down and a little boy on the ground said to them, “Hola!” They waved and said to him, “Hola!”

They followed the map and kept going south. They came to a huge river. It was the Amazon in Brazil. All around were beautiful parrots. A boy called to them, “Hola!” They waved to him too and called out “Hola."

Suddenly the sky went dark. There was a thunderstorm. Heavy rain fell. A strong wind blew the balloon this way and that. They were traveling fast through the dark sky. They did not know where they were going.

Many days later, they saw a desert below them. They saw miles and miles of yellow sand. They saw giant pyramids. They were in a land called Egypt. Looking down they saw a boy on the ground. He waved to them and said “Marhaban." Toro and Rexy said, "Marhaban."

Then, suddenly, sand blew up all around them. It was a desert storm. Sand swirled all around them. The storm picked up the balloon and took it far away from the desert.

Toro and Rexy saw a long wall below them. It was the Great Wall of China. A little boy below called "Nihao” to them. “Nihao,” said Toro and Rexy.

Suddenly, a giant, green dragon appeared and chased them away.

They flew east and came to an island. There was a pagoda and a beautiful mountain. It was Mount Fuji. A girl on the ground called to them, “Konnichiwa." “Konnichiwa,” they called back to the girl.

They looked at the map again but still they could not find the treasure. They saw a giant sea monster coming towards them so they quickly turned and flew north.

They saw a colorful castle called the Kremlin and they landed the balloon. A girl said to them, “Privet”. And they said “Privet” to the girl.

Then, a big, brown bear appeared and was running towards them. Quickly, they jumped back into the balloon and flew off again.

Soon, flying through the sky, pizza rained down all around them. They were very happy.

Later, they saw a tower that was tilted to one side. It was the Leaning Tower of Pisa. A boy on the ground called up to them. “Ciao,” he said. “Ciao,” they called back.

Flying further north, they saw a very tall, gray tower. It was the Eiffel Tower. A boy on the ground said to them, “Bonjour”. They said “Bonjour” to the boy.

Then, the very tip of the tower pierced their balloon. The air started to escape and the balloon shot up, very high in the sky.

Then, the balloon started to come down again. Lower and lower it came. They found themselves right back at their own house.

They realized that their family was the biggest treasure was their family and they already had the treasure. They ran in and hugged their mothers.
