One night, a man was walking in the forest. In the trees, he saw a light. He went to look at the light.
Page 2
When the man was near the light, he saw ten cats. They looked very sad.
Page 3
Nine of the cats were carrying a casket. The tenth cat was wearing a black hat. The cat was a priest!
Page 4
The cats carried the casket to a small grave. They put the casket inside. The priest cat said a prayer.

Suddenly, all of the cats looked at the man! The priest cat began to walk toward the man.
Page 6
The priest cat stopped. He looked at the man. Then, the priest cat said, “Speak to Tom Tindrum. Tell him that Tim Tomdrum is dead.”

The man went home. His wife was in the house, and his cat was sleeping by the fire. The man said to his wife, “Do you know Tom Tindrum?” The wife said that she did not know.
