One day, a boy name Cuoi was walking in the forest. His mother told him to gather firewood. But he began to play, and he forgot about the firewood.

On a hill, Cuoi found some baby tigers. He sat and played with them. But Cuoi was not being careful, and he hurt the baby tigers.

The baby tigers began to cry in pain. And then, Cuoi hear a big roar in the forest. The mother tiger was coming!

Cuoi hid in a tree. When the mother tiger saw her hurt babies, she used some leaves as medicine. And soon, the babies were healthy again.

The mother tiger took her babies away. Cuoi came down from the tree. He dug up the little tree with the special leaves, and he took it home.

When Cuoi grew up, he became a doctor. He used the special leaves, and he cured everyone. He became very rich.

Cuoi’s wife was jealous because Cuoi loved his tree. Cuoi spent many hours every day taking care of his tree. Cuoi’s wife hated the tree!
