Once upon a time, there was a young troll. He was very poor, but he loved the Troll Princess. And the Troll Princess loved the poor troll too.

One day, the King of Trolls saw the poor troll walking with the Troll Princess. The King of the Trolls was very angry.

The King of Trolls wanted to kill the poor troll. The poor troll was afraid. Then, the Troll Princess gave the poor troll a magic stone. She said, “Kiss this stone, and run away!”

The poor troll kissed the stone, and POOF! He turned into a cat. Then, he quickly ran away from the King of Trolls.

The cat ran out of the troll cave. Because it was daytime, the King of Trolls could not follow the cat; trolls turn into stone in the sunlight.

The cat ran to a house. A man named Plat lived in the house. Plat took the cat inside the house. Plat gave food and milk to the cat. Soon, Plat and the cat became friends.

One day, Plat was walking in the mountains. Suddenly, he heard someone call his name. The voice said, “Hey, Plat! Tell your cat the King of Trolls is dead.”

Plat quickly ran home. He looked at the cat, and he said, “Hey, cat. The King of Trolls is dead.” The cat jumped out of the house and ran as fast as he could to the troll cave.

The King of Trolls was dead, so the Troll Princess became the Queen of Trolls. She kissed the cat, and POOF! The cat turned into the poor troll.

The Queen of Trolls and the poor troll got married and lived happily ever after. And Plat, who took care of the cat – one morning, he found a big bag of gold on his kitchen table.
